While in time with the Lord, He gave me a revelation, a revelation of a sign of what He was doing in the earth. I was watching TV programs on the Tsunami that hit December 26, 2004. They said on the TV program that the earthquake was so strong that it tilted the earth off of its axis. The EARTH SHIFTED! Many bible teachers tell us when God is doing something in the Spirit, with His people; there will be a sign in the earth. God put on my heart that this shifting was a sign in the earth that paralleled in the Spirit with what He was doing in His people. GOD TOLD ME, "I AM SHIFTING THINGS IN MY CHURCH!
Since God dropped that in my heart several weeks ago, my friend, Tamera sent me a book called, "MEGA SHIFT," by James Rutz. Wow! It was what God had been speaking into my heart for the last four years. I knew God was changing things, but I did not fully understand what God really wanted to do, until I read this book. Then I understood that God is bringing us back to His early church, the God centered church, it's all about building God's Kingdom! It's about praying together, seeking God, first. Worshipping Him only. The songs should be about Him. Everything we do in church should be about Him. Not programs, things that make us happy and comfortable. Also we need to keep ourselves pure for the Great Bridegroom, Jesus. He is coming back for a spotless bride.
When I traveled to Germany last year, I realized how diluted our worship in America had become when I saw how pure the worship was in Germany, at least, at the churches I visited. The songs were about God and living a pure life for Him. Many songs in America today don't worship Him. The songs tend to be selfish, self-centered and not about our love towards Him. They tend to be all about getting something from Him. You rarely hear about having a pure heart, clean heart, keeping your mind on clean and pure thoughts, keeping a loving attitude. Last year the Lord spoke to me that it was time to record a worship cd. He even told me the day to travel and led me where to record it. Before He spoke He released me to record a worship CD, He put on my heart to purify all my worship songs, make sure they are towards Him and about Him. So I changed a few words here and there. Now the songs are all about Him. The worship is all about HIM and my love towards Him! America needs to get back to pure worship! In Germany I saw my songs could, and would be sung by some of the churches there, but in America.... humm, I am not so sure.
I am going to ask some real hard questions.... How much of the offerings we give go toward the work of the Kingdom of God? Does it go for the costly building and the Pastor and staff? Or does the offering go to the help the widow and to feed the hungry? Does it go to help the brothers and sisters in need? Does it support the call of call on each of the members of that church? "Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others." (Philippianes 2:4 NKJV). Paul the Apostle in the bible worked to make money, so he would not be a burden to anyone. Where are those Apostles today? Where are the leaders, leading by example? We should be giving into the storehouse. Do you give where you receive all your spiritual food? Or are you giving where you get breadcrumbs and not giving where you are getting the majority of your spiritual food. If we would do just that one thing, then the dead churches and ministries would die. What would we be left with? Maybe a church that is passionately on fire for God and deeply in love with our Lord and committed to obey Him, and Him alone.
